Also, the Westboro Baptist Church is giving me the birthday present of an on-campus protest next week.

I started this new blog on the night of my friend's 20th birthday with the realization that I myself have only three more months at the time before taking the leap, and what did I have to show for it? A graveyard of blogs, each one more insipid than the next. I guess this is one is just another of many attempts at meaning-making-- one more step in my personal quest to make something out of something instead of nothing, if you will.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of anti-protest protests that are going to be held on campus while they're here. There's an overall anti-hate protest that sounds really cool, and then there's this group of people who are going to have a mock protest along WITH the church, and they're going to be holding up signs that say stuff like "GOD HATES MISSING THE BUS" or "GOD HATES CORE BIO."
